Ronnie Winters, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Honoring the life and the legacy of our father, who was dedicated to educating minority students.
The recipient must be a minority student and will be selected based on the following criteria:
Graduating High School Student:
* Minimum 2.50 GPA on 4.00 grading scale
* Completion of a minimum of 10 hours of community service.
* One letter of reference from an academic Administrator or Teacher, attesting to the applicant’s character, leadership ability, and academic ability.
* One-page personal statement in response to an essay question.
* Must be accepted and plan to attend an accredited college, university or vocational school.
College/University Undergraduate or Vocational Student:
* Minimum 2.50 GPA on 4.00 grading scale
* Completion of a minimum of 10 hours of community service.

* Must be academically eligible to enroll in upcoming semester in an accredited college, university or vocational school.
Application deadline April 12, 2024 (late applications will not be accepted). The Scholarship will be awarded in various amounts ranging from $500-$3,000. The scholarship recipient will be notified in writing via email on April 29, 2024. The scholarship recipient will be sent a check once proof of active enrollment in the Fall 2024 semester in a college/university or vocational school confirmed.
